RealTracks Artist Bio: Fintan O'Brien
Fintan O'Brien is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Victoria BC, whose debut self-titled EP – produced by Nygel Asselin (Half Moon Run) – melds a classic acoustic foundation with modern pop leanings.
With a unique pedigree that includes years of busking with his family in western Canada, Fintan is already a seasoned performer who has played more than 1,000 shows.
Fintan’s keen sense of melody resulted in him winning the Grand Prize at the 2017 Yamaha “Keys to the Junos” Songwriting Contest, giving him his first opportunity to experience the Juno Awards in person.
